A Note on .223 Wylde Chambering:
The .223 Wylde chambering was designed to fill in the gap between .223 Remington chambers and 5.56mm NATO chambers. It was found that NATO chambers were inherently less accurate than .223 Remington chamberings with the same ammunition. In order to attempt to fix this, the Wylde was developed to try to gain back some accuracy without compromizing the pressure issues created by firing full power NATO (and some overpowered foreign made NATO ammunition) in a .223 Remington chamber. The Wylde's main difference is that the bullet does not jump as far before it contacts the rifling as it does in the NATO chamber. This alleviates the pressure issue while gaining back some accuracy.
.223 Wylde can safely and accurately shoot all NATO ammunition and all .223 Remington ammunition.
